The House of the Sun “The house, which was enchanted when I was little, was soon called the house of the sun and photographed by dozens of people in the summer.” The house of the sun, so called for the work of Carlo Sbisà, a ceramic bas-relief located on the facade, which depicts the hours of the day, it was built in the early 1900s and renovated in the 1950s, by the Grubers Benco, a family of intellectuals and writers from Trieste.
